BulkSMS.com is a division of Celerity Systems (Pty) Ltd, founded in Cape Town in 2000 and operating under the Celerity parent brand since August 2025 (a rebrand, not an acquisition; sibling product Kero handles WhatsApp/RCS). It sells prepaid SMS credit bundles (no contracts, no monthly or setup fees, credits valid two years) usable via a web app, email-to-SMS, integrations and a REST/JSON API with webhooks and SMPP for high volume. Australian customers contract with Celerity Messaging UK Ltd and are billed in EUR, from EUR 0.039 per credit at 200 credits down to EUR 0.030 at 50,000 (about A$0.0628 to A$0.0483 at the ECB rate of 5 Oct 2026), with quotes above 50,000 a month. BulkSMS registers Australian alphanumeric Sender IDs on the customer's behalf at no charge, offers dedicated Australian virtual numbers for two-way messaging, and lets senders choose Economy, Standard or Premium routes. Data is hosted on AWS in Ireland under GDPR/UK GDPR/POPIA terms.
